Many people find the process of reviewing analytics information intimidating.
The goal behind the UX and Visual design for this NPR Station Analytics project was to simplify the interface, allowing the focus to be on the information that is most important for the NPR Station.
This project also included designing an identity that would integrate well with NPR’s existing branding and logo.
The analytics dashboard presents key metrics on a station’s audience growth and engagement – plus the ability to compare numbers to other stations.
The Station Analytics dashboard includes:
• Web site metrics from Google Analytics
• Streaming metrics from Triton so stations can visualize their online listening audience
• Emphasis on the metrics that matter most for public media, so audience growth, engagement, top-performing content, and site activities can be easily tracked by stakeholders
• The ability to compare stations with the entire system
